CRESTON - The Iowa Central women put on a shooting clinic against Southwestern here on Saturday.
The Tritons (21-8 overall, 12-4 ICCAC) tied a school record for three pointers made in an 88-55 victory over Southwestern (0-30).
Iowa Central received 17 triples from nine different players. The 17 treys made ties a record set by the 2007-08 team.
"We had 36 out of our 52 points from three in the first half,'' said Iowa Central head coach Craig Carlson. "They packed in a zone and we took what was available.
"That was the first time I've had nine different players hit three.''
St. Edmond graduate Lydia Harvey recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Harvey led the Tritons with three triples.

Jasmine Binion led the Tritons in the score column with 13. Katie Dentlinger (12), Babaye Ojay (11) also reached double digits.
After 17th-ranked DMACC upset No. 2 Kirkwood on Saturday night, the Tritons had to settle for the three seed in the regional tournament, which begins Tuesday. Iowa Central will host Marshalltown (11-19) Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
