State Rep. Helen Miller, D-Fort Dodge, has joined the House Rural Caucus.
The caucus is a group of representatives who work on issues related to farms and small towns.
''As a rural legislator and ranking member of the House Agriculture Committee, I know there are many unique challenges facing our small towns and rural communities,'' Miller said. ''By working together, this caucus will ensure rural Iowa has a strong voice in the Iowa House. I look forward to listening to the concerns of Iowans in rural areas and working to improve their quality of life.''
