KEOKUK - A big second half from Babaye Ojay paced the Iowa Central women in a 71-52 victory on Saturday night.
Ojay scored 22 points for the Tritons (13-8 overall, 4-4 ICCAC), all in the second half. Ojay also pulled down 11 rebounds.
"Ojay played unbelievable,'' said Iowa Central head coach Craig Carlson. "She had one of the best halfs of basketball I've seen.''
Katie Dentlinger had 11 points and Miliakere Koyamainavure had nine points.
In the first half the Tritons scored 31 points and connected on seven three pointers. They out distanced Southeastern with a 40-point second half.
"We hit seven three's in the first half and they started pressuring us, so we went underneath,'' Carlson said. "(Lydia) Harvey did a great job on defense.
