Program offered to aid startups

Providers to host a free event for businesses

WEBSTER CITY -"Building a New Business In the 21st Century," a program for present and potential owners of small businesses, will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Webster City City Hall (Council Chambers), 400 Second St.

This free program is being conducted by Webster City Economic Development, Hamilton County SEED, SCORE (America's Counselors to Business) and the NCI Small Business Development Center to provide information to increase business success.

Local experts from the surrounding area will present tips on ingredients of personal business success, marketing and promotion, local start-up success, accounting and legal aspects of starting a business, banking and financing.
