Harden Healthcare, a Texas-based senior healthcare services provider with an office in Fort Dodge andoperations in 13 states, announced that its subsidiary, Iowa Hospice, will change its name to Iowa Hospice by Harden Healthcare effective immediately. The company has also unveiled a new logo. The name and logo change are part of a company-wide rebranding effort that will result in more consistency among Harden hospice companies. No other operational changes are anticipated as a result of the name change.
Harden Healthcare provides a continuum of healthcare services for seniors - including hospice care, home health, skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living - through its various companies. The Harden family of companies employs 33,000 associates who serve more than 35,000 patients a day.
"Providing compassionate care will remain the hallmark of all Harden Healthcare companies, including Iowa Hospice by Harden Healthcare," Lew Little, Harden Healthcare chief executive officer, said. "As a company, we've grown significantly in recent years and feel the time is right to unify most of our companies under the Harden name and branding. We also believe this will help our patients recognize Harden companies, which will always provide the highest-quality care, as their healthcare needs change and they navigate the continuum of care."
According to a company spokeswoman, Whitney Herrick "no operational changes are anticipated in the Fort Dodge office or any others throughout the state."
