past WB-Mallard

WEST BEND - The 12th-ranked (Class 2A) Manson Northwest Webster girls cruised to a 71-23 victory over West Bend-Mallard Friday night.

Ellie Herzberg scored 23 points and Faith Troshynski added 17 for the Cougars (8-2 overall).

Mackenzie Grimm led the Wolverines with 10.

Haley Birks anchored the Titans (9-2 overall, 2-0 Twin Lakes Conference) with a game-high 17 points, while Hannah Corey added 13 points.

For the Panthers (3-6, 1-2), Jasmine Demers finished with 16 points.

Rachel Teague led the Bulldogs (7-4 overall, 6-3 in NCC) with 13 points. Algona led 20-14 at the half.

Bailey Kibsgaard scored a game-high 14 to lead the Lions (6-2 in NCC).
