HAYWARD, WI - Anne V. Harrington, age 87, of Hayward, WI passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Anne Victorine Crawford was born August 10, 1925 in Barnum, Iowa the daughter of Arthur and Kathryn (Doyle) Crawford. She was raised in Barnum, attended college courses in Fort Dodge, then accepted a position with International Harvester. On September 5, 1953 Anne married James W. Harrington. Anne and James moved throughout Iowa with James' work. Anne was a busy mother raising her seven children. The Harringtons moved to Brainerd, MN where they attended St. Andrew's Catholic Church. In the early 1990's Anne moved to Hayward, WI where she was employed by, then an active volunteer at the Hayward Senior Center. Anne was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a participant of the Energy Program at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Anne is survived by her children, Michael (Yvonne) Harrington of Danbury, WI, Patricia (Terri) Harrington of Tombstone, AZ, Jeanne (Rick) Conroy of CA, Madonna (Jeff) Meyer of Skaneateles, NY, Maura Harrington of Hayward, WI, Andrew (Lori) Harrington of Scandia, MN and Rose (Kent) Lillyroot of Hayward, WI; nine grandchildren, Patrick Conroy, Ellen Meyer, Maureen Meyer, Sam Meyer, Erin Lillyroot, Kathryn Lillyroot, Lincoln Spafford and Desiree Spafford; niece, Kathleen (Steve) Ure; and nephew, Tomas (Mary) Ryan; many other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brothers, Arthur, Vincent, Joe, Tom; and one sister, Theresa Ryan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Fort Dodge, IA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 28, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hayward. A brief prayer service will follow the time of visitation at St. Joseph's on Friday. Interment will be in the Corpus Christi Cemetery in Fort Dodge, IA.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Hayward Senior Center Meal Program, 15856 E 5th St., Hayward.
