CALLENDER - A pork chop supper will be held from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Callender, to benefit Steve Dorsey.
Dorsey recently spent a month in the University of Iowa hospital in Iowa City, after a stroke and two surgeries. He is at Regency Manor in Jefferson, waiting to go to On with Life, a rehabilitation center in Ankeny.
A freewill donation will help Dorsey's family with travel and other expenses.
