Trinity Lutheran holds open house

ALGONA - Trinity Lutheran Church will host a Community Christmas Open House and Live Nativity from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 16 in the Trinity Life Center. The Church is located at 520 N. Garfield St., Algona.

The community is invited to come and experience the birth of Jesus with a Live Nativity. The free event will portray the sights and sounds of the first Christmas in Bethlehem. The Nativity scene, complete with Mary and Joseph, the three kings, and live animals will take place in the courtyard of the Trinity Life Center. Guests can mingle with the biblical characters and live animals and have hot refreshments and homemade Christmas cookies. The Trinity Quilters will also be showcasing their quilts.
