Burns' double-double carries Garrigan

past Humboldt

ALGONA - John Burns scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in leading Bishop Garrigan to a 52-47 victory over Humboldt Tuesday night.

Nathan Krieps added 18 points for the Golden Bears (3-1 overall, 2-1 in NCC). Krieps also had five assists and four steals.

Jaxon Heinz paced the Wildcats with 18 points, hitting four three-pointers.

Brody Eischeid poured in 25 points for the Cougars (3-1 overall), while Josh Markert added 13 points.

For the Raiders (3-1), Reed Tellinghuisen (28) and Justin Kraft (12) each scored in double figures.

Stephen McAtee (16) and Max Gangestad (10) led the offensive attack for the Cowboys (1-2, 1-2).
