Trinity Singers, a 40-member choir at Trinity United Methodist Church, will present "Celebrate the Birth of Jesus ... the Lamb of God" at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 8 and 10 a.m. Dec. 9 at the church, 838 N. 25th St.
"This beautiful cantata provides a powerful challenge for all who are in attendance, to share the glorious news of the birth of our Savior," said Armona Redenius, director.
Songs include "When Will He Come?" "On This Holy Night," "Mary, Mary," "Lamb of God," "Calypso Lullaby" and "Jesus, Oh, What a Wonderful Child."
Narration is provided by members of the Trinity Singers. Soloists for the cantata are Rhonda Wiley, Jason Laird, Jared Feddersen, Lisa Flaherty and Marty Smith. The cantata is accompanied by pianists Jared Feddersen and Lisa Flaherty; drummer Kevin Thompson; and flutist Dee Murman.
