Warriors cruise

GOWRIE - The Prairie Valley girls picked up a 46-27 victory over Belmond-Klemme on Tuesday night.

The Warriors (1-0 overall) were led by Clara Pearson's 17 points. Jaclyn Rittgers added 14 points.

LAKE CITY - The South Central Calhoun girls downed Audubon by a 56-40 final on Tuesday.

Haley Birks finished with a game-high 17 points for the Titans (2-0 overall).

Kori Assman (14) and Hannah Corey (11) both scored in double figures as well for South Central Calhoun.

Marissa Haubrich led the way for the Wheelers (1-2) with 13 points.
