POCAHONTAS — Hope Elbert, of Pocahontas and Sam Radke, of Galva, were married June 30, at Faith Lutheran Church, rural Palmer.
Parents of the couple are Troy and Jeanne Elbert, of Pocahontas, and David and Janda Radke, of Galva.
Maid of honor was Brooke Elbert, Pocahontas, sister of the bride. Best man was Seth Radke, Galva, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Jessica Kuehner, Nevada; Katie Yule, Charles City; Holly Phillips, Fort Dodge; Nikki Seehusen, Pocahontas; Annie Hanrahan, St. Paul, Minn.; and Adison Elbert, Stanton, Neb.
Groomsmen were Kyle Yearous, Cedar Rapids; Jesse Bremer, Holstein; Ben Andresen, Holstein; Blake, Trent, and Ryan Elbert, Pocahontas, all brothers of the bride.
Ring bearers were J.D. Miller, Washington D.C., and Owen Campion, Austin, Texas. The flower girl was Emma Brown, Glenwood.
The bride graduated in May from Iowa State University with a degree in agriculture studies. She is employed with United Bank of Iowa.
The groom is a 2008 graduate of Galva Holstein High School and a 2010 graduate of Iowa Central Community College, with a degree in criminal justice. He farms and raises cattle.
After a honeymoon trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple lives in Albert City.
