Laurens man faces drug charges

LAURENS - A Laurens man is facing drug charges after a search warrant was conducted on his property.

Kyan Grindley, 33, has been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to a statement from the Pocahontas County Sheriff's Office, deputies and officers with the Laurens Police Department searched the home at 114 E. Main St. on Nov. 2. Investigators found both marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the house, which was where Grindley lived, though he was not home at the time.

Grindley was later arrested on the charges.

He was released from jail after posting at $1,300 bond.
