Incumbent Bob Singer came out on top in the race for Webster County Supervisor District 3.
Singer, a Democrat from Fort Dodge, received 2,450 votes, or 71.39 percent.
He was challenged by Republican John Owen, of Fort Dodge.
Owen received 980 votes, or 28.55 percent.
Singer campaigned on a pledge to continue working to develop the North Central Ag Industrial Park west of Fort Dodge lobbying for the expansion of U.S. Highway 20 as a four-lane route all across northern Iowa. Singer is the currently the chairman for the Board of Supervisors.
"Based upon the favorable comments concerning the current Board of Supervisors, I am pleased to be able to serve another term," Singer said.
"I want to thank all of my supporters who helped me with the race," said Owen. "I congratulate Bob, and I wish him well in the next four years in office."
District 3 is composed of precincts 8, 9, 10 and 12 in the city of Fort Dodge.
