Merrill D. Leffler, of Fort Dodge, has won the District 4 seat for Webster County Supervisor.
Leffler defeated Democrat Marcy Lundberg 1,472 votes to 1,461, a margin of only .35 percent.
Write-in candidate Eugene Newsome received 225 votes, roughly 7 percent.
Winner of the District 4 election will represent voter precincts 1, 3, 6 and 7 within the city of Fort Dodge on the board.
