To the editor:
There should be no doubt in the minds of Webster County citizens that Kevin Kruse should be the next sheriff for Webster County.
Not only has he been a lifelong Webster County resident, his 24-plus years of law enforcement experience in this county make him the best person for the job. His objectivity allows him to make rational decisions when needed, but also allows others to voice opinions and be a part of the decision making process. When necessary, Kevin will take charge with no hesitation, giving direction in a clear concise fashion. In order to be a progressive leader, communication skills are of great importance. Kevin has these qualities, not only in direct conversation, but also by being involved with various organizations throughout Webster County. These include Callender Fire Department chief over 15-plus years, a member of the Lehigh Valley Telephone board of directors, and also a member of the six-county Northwestern Area Training Academy board. Based on his community participation, communication skills have been proven repeatedly. His involvement in these organizations show the interest and concern he has not only for the Webster County residents, but those on a larger scale as well.
With the combination of these attributes, including his law enforcement experience and community involvement, plus Kevin's "no rhetoric" approach to various situations, it is clear to understand why Kevin Kruse should be elected the next sheriff of Webster County.
