To the editor:
I write in support of Mark Campbell's bid for election as a Webster County supervisor.
Mark is a lifelong resident of Webster County. He is a business owner and a property owner. He has skin in the game.
Mark has served with distinction on numerous county and city boards and commissions over the past decade never once using the positions to seek air or ink for himself. Never one to simply show up for a meeting and occupy a chair, Mark always takes the time to research the issues and seek the input from all interested parties. His positions and votes have always been based on what is best for the community and what is fair to all.
With the ongoing expansion at the Ag Park west of Fort Dodge, Webster County is on the cusp of great economic progress - something conspicuously missing from the community for several decades. The Webster County supervisors have played and will continue to play a key role in encouraging and guiding the growth of this remarkable complex with wise expenditures for infrastructure improvements. The current board members have been wise stewards of taxpayer money. I am confident that Mark Campbell will use his knowledge and leadership to continue these laudable practices.
I urge a vote for Mark Campbell for supervisor.
