To the editor:
We are writing in support of Jim Stubbs for Webster County sheriff.
We feel he is the best choice having served 25-plus years in the Sheriff's Department as well as six years as first deputy sheriff. Throughout this almost-quarter of a century of law enforcement, he has been diligent in making sure offenders are processed and brought to justice according to the law.
He is a man of integrity and will lead the Sheriff's Department in a decisive and nonprejudicial direction.
Be sure to take advantage of your democratic right to vote on Nov. 6 and I reiterate you can't go wrong voting for Jim Stubbs for sheriff.
