The 2012 Triton Challenge cheerleading competition was held Saturday on the campus of Iowa Central Community College. A total of 28 high school cheerleading squads from throughout Iowa competed, with six local schools placing in their divisions. Squads from Prairie Valley and St. Edmond and Fort Dodge Senior High won their divisions, with Prairie Valley taking home the overall small school grand champion title. The results are as follows.
