To the editor:
The decision for District 2 Supervisor is an easy one. Elect Mark Campbell, a man who lives here, works here and is ready to be part of the future of Webster County.
As a Fort Dodge business and Webster County property owner, Mark has balanced budgets, made payroll, created jobs and developed land. When RAGBRAI came through local communities this summer, Mark loaned equipment (tents, grills and coolers) to organizations, such as the Lehigh Fire Department and Marv's Market Street Grill & Bar in Gowrie, to help them serve the crowds that rode through. That's the kind of man he is - always willing to support and help those in need.
Mark is already working for me and the citizens of Webster County. He recently attended drainage school to learn more about that agricultural issue. He has been attending the supervisors' meeting each Tuesday to gain understanding of the issues being discussed.
By attending local events such as coffee time in Gowrie and celebrations in Moorland, Dayton, Lehigh, Otho and Gowrie, Mark continues to spend time with the people that comprise District 2. He welcomes conversation from everyone, listens, researches the issues and then responds to let you know what he's learned.
Make a positive choice and vote for Mark Campbell as District 2 supervisor. You will be proud to represented by a man who lives here, works here and is ready to be part of the future of Webster County.
