SAN ANTONIO, TX - James Robert "Jim" Ellwanger passed peacefully into his new life with God in San Antonio, Texas, on October 24, 2012, four days before his 68th birthday and after a valiant eleven-month battle with brain cancer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, Iowa. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the services at the church on Saturday. The Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
