From 1981, up until my retirement in 1999, I was one of the FBI agents who worked cases in Webster County that fell within our investigative jurisdiction.
Beginning in the early 1990s, I met Deputy James Stubbs of the Webster County sheriff's office and had occasion to work cases with him of mutual interest for many years. Deputy Stubbs is a man of integrity. He is an outstanding law enforcement officer who is a credit to his department and an asset to the people of Webster County.
I would recommend him as your next sheriff.
