CEDAR FALLS - Wilma M. Mehmen, 81 of Cedar Falls, died at her home Friday, October 12.
She was born July 19, 1931 in Goldfield, Iowa, the daughter of E. Willard and Viola Mae Wald Jones. She married Jake Mehmen on February 11, 1950 in Eagle Grove, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1998.
Wilma work as a secretary and later Credit Manager for the Cedar Falls Utilities for 33 1/3 years, retiring in June of 1990.

She is survived by: her brother, Ernest (Catherine) Jones of Ft. Dodge; sister, Dorothy Hackett of Shellsburg and adoptive family, Richard and Mercy Andersen and their children, Abel, Bianca, Cypriss and Beau; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be 11:00am Tuesday, October 16, at Faith Wesleyan Church in Cedar Falls, with interment in the Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7pm Monday at the Richardson Funeral Service, and also one hour prior to services at church. Memorial contributions may be directed to KNWS Radio.
