To the editor:

I am sending this letter in support of Clark Fletcher, who is seeking a new two-year term on the Webster County Board of Supervisors.

I recently moved to Fort Dodge as the facility manager of the Cargill Milling plant. Clark was one of the first people I met and I have worked with him on many issues.

In my experience, Clark has brought a very commonsense approach to understanding the issues, working toward a solution and gaining the support of others. In most cases, Clark was the spokesperson at the meetings that I was involved in relative to the Ag Park. He has demonstrated professionalism, is very articulate and straight forward, and allows other to feel comfortable sharing their opinions so the best solution can be determined.

Clark is very close to many current initiatives in the Ag Park development and has been instrumental in working through them. With that said, I do not feel it would be in the best interest of the stakeholders to change leadership at this time. I strongly encourage voters to allow Clark to continue his leadership and maintain the continuity of progress begun in Webster County.
