The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved Tuesday several items during its regular meeting.
The board approved signing an underwriting letter with Ruan Securities/D.A. Davidson & Company and Webster County for the proposed offering and issuance of $1,350,000 in general obligation capital loan notes, series 2012.
"This is to provide funding the the oversized sewer pipe at the ag park," said Supervisor Clark Fletcher.
The supervisors next approved a quote from Storey Kenworthy of $7,838.01 for office equipment for the county attorney's office.
"This is for funding for the secretaries and work station," Ricki Osborn, county attorney, said. "The money for this will be taken from collections and not the general fund."
The board also approved a request from the city of Fort Dodge to waive past due taxes on the former IBP plant, two parcels, since the city accepted the tax sale deeds said properties to clean up the site for redevelopment.
