Earlene D. Miklo, 69, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Marian Home.
Funeral services will be Friday 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home, with Deacon Dan Carney officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
Earlene is survived by her sons, Phillip (Teresa) Miklo of Arnolds Park and David (Lea) Miklo of Copper Cove, TX; daughters, Christine (Ron) Williams and Melissa (Doug) Peterson all of Fort Dodge; and six grandchildren, and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Helen (Davis) Bednar.

Earlene D. Kennedy was born on June 14, 1943 in Fort Dodge where she was raised and educated. After high school, Earlene attended beauty school. She then established her home in Clare where she had a beauty shop in her home for a number of years. In 1975, she moved back to Fort Dodge. She worked for various beauty salons and cooked for the Villa Care Center and Greenleaf Health Care. In 2005 she retired from the Comfort Inn. Earlene enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.
