Fort Dodge Senior High will present Reader's Theatre today at the Oleson Park Bandshell.
Three plays will be performed, "Hostage," "Beauty and the Geek" and "Murder, A Love Story?" The plays were all written by students in the senior high's Creative Writing II class, and will be performed by students in the school's Drama I class. Students in Graphic Design I created the promotional artwork for the plays.
"Reader's Theatre is a truly collaborative, cross-curricular effort," Andi Adams, FDSH teacher, said. "The team effort on this project has been a great experience for the kids. It's been fun watching the students in the various classes use their interests and skills for a common project."
The one-act plays will be performed today at 7 p.m. at the Oleson Park Bandshell. Free will donations are being collected in lieu of an admission fee.
