Noreen M. Brown, 85, of Fort Dodge passed away Friday, September 21, 2012 at Bickford Cottages, surrounded by her family and wonderful, caring staff.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012 10:00 AM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 4:30 and a Vigil at 7:00.

Noreen is survived by her sons, John and his wife, Roxie of Polk City; Greg and his fiancee, Pam McBride: Matt and his wife, Cindy all of Fort Dodge; and Mark of Spirit Lake; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Keck of Fort Dodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marie (McCarville) Deluhery; husband, Walter; son, Kevin; and a brother, Duane Deluhery.

Noreen MarieDeluhery was born September 3, 1927 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1945. She then attended B.I.A in Des Moines. On June 27, 1948 she was united in marriage to Walter F. Brown and the couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Noreen worked at Trinity Regional Medical Center for 25 years in the Switchboard Department. She was a life-time member of Catholic Daughters of America. Noreen was an avid Iowa State fan and was always very proud of her family.
