PALMER - The Palmetto State Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Faith Lutheran Church in rural Palmer.
From Nashville, Tenn., Palmetto State Quartet has been a fan favorite for many decades for gospel music lovers. The group is owned by bass singer Larry Strickland, who toured with Elvis Presley and J.D. Sumner & The Stamps, and is married to Naomi Judd and manager of superstars "The Judds." There is no cost, but a freewill offering will be taken for the group. Faith Lutheran Church is located 10 miles north of Manson on Pocahontas County Road N65 or three miles south of Iowa Highway 3 on County Road N65.
