To the editor:
I'm writing in response to the letter on Sept.13. I agree with what Ms. Dencklau is saying. I too have been going to these games for years and I see the disappointment in the players eyes. I see the injured players trying so hard not to let the team, their coaches and the fans down. But when your playing nonstop it takes a toll on them.
I wish the crowd would get more involved. I wish the parents would get off of the phones and start cheering for their kids and team mates.
It truly is sad when the players sitting down have to get the crowd involved. I thought that's what the cheer coaches and cheerleaders are doing out there.
