HUMBOLDT - Nelson Henry Hendrickson, 86, of Humboldt, passed away September 18, 2012 at his home. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Humboldt with pastors Doug Wolter and Brian Friedel officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.
Nelson is survived by his wife Arlys (Borg) Hendrickson, sons; Michael (Bethanne) of Greenwich, NY, Paul (Linda) of Berkeley, IL, David (Nancy) of Needham, MA, Danny (Lisa) of Mt Laurel, NJ and Peter (Cindy) of Pleasant Hill, IA, daughters; Catherine (Ray) Stockdale of Humboldt, Carol (Brett) Rossow of Belton MO, Melissa Hendrickson (Joe Collins) of Livermore, IA, 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters; Clara Wagner and Marie (Bill) Nelsen. He was preceded in death by his parents, son; Thomas and brothers, Robert, Donald and Paul.
Nelson Henry Hendrickson, the son of Clarence William and Johanne Catherine (Sorensen) Hendrickson, was born November 14, 1925 in Ward, South Dakota. Nelson worked for the REA/REC for 37 years retiring in 1987.
