AMES -?The Fort Dodge boys golf team participated in the Ames Invitational here Monday.
The Dodgers were 11th with a score of 349. Nate Sunken (40-41-81)?again paced FDSH, while Alex Hage (41-44-85)?was second in the FDSH?lineup.
"It was a very windy day, but Nate continues to give us a very steady effort,"?Dodger head coach Tommy Thompson said. "He did a nice job. Anything around 80 was a good score (yesterday)."
Mike Woofter of Waukee was the meet medalist, carding a 72. The Warriors won the meet with a 294.
Fort Dodge hosts Ames in a 3:30 p.m. dual at the Fort Dodge Country Club on Tuesday.
