DECORAH - The Iowa Central women's cross country team took part in the 41st Annual All-American Invitational at Luther College on Saturday.
The Tritons placed fifth in the team race with 122 points. Carleton (53) took home top honors.
Fiona McKenna of Iowa Central finished as the individual champion, clocking a time of 18:40.5. Luther's Emma Spoon (18:51.9) turned in a runner-up showing.
Other Triton runners were Jamie Neal (16th, 19:34.9), Laura Condron (27th, 19:51.9), Cecelia Kumalalamene (34th, 20:06.8), Eveline Niyokwizigiwa (44th, 20:23.9), Fort Dodge Senior High graduate Tara Jackson (45th, 20:23.9) and former Eagle Grove prep Stephanie Herrington (67th, 21:41.2).
Iowa Central returns to action Sept. 29 at the Cowboy Jamboree in Stillwater, Okla.
