CEDAR RAPIDS - Antonio I. Love, 39, of Cedar Rapids formerly of Fort Dodge passed away at his home Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
A funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday, September 10, 2012 at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, with Pastor D.C. Darenbourg officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Antonio is survived by his wife, Rainey; sons, Jaymin and Javaryn Love; daughters, Raeya and Ciarra Love; step-son, Jivontae Lee and step-daughter, Nivae Clausen; parents, Nathan (Gwen) Loyd and Jemerial Love both of Fort Dodge; grandmother, Lena Townsend of Fort Dodge; brother, Nathaniel Pettigrew of Cedar Rapids; and sisters Dawntaya Pettigrew of Minneapolis; Vanessa Loyd of Boone; and DaneshaLoyd of Fort Dodge.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Love, Mattie Thomas, and Simon Hopson.
Antonio Ivan Love was born March 1, 1973 in Fort Dodge. He attended Fort Dodge Public Schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He then attended and graduated from Waldorf College in Forest City. Following his education he returned to Fort Dodge, where he began to work for the Fort Dodge Labs. He was united in marriage to Angie Bollig and the couple raised their children Jaymin, Raeya, and Ciarra. The couple later divorced. In 2006, Tony moved to Cedar Rapids, where he began to work for Rockwell-Collins Co. In 2009 Antonio was united in marriage to Rainey Clausen and the couple established their home in Cedar Rapids, where together Tony and Rainey raised their family including the birth of their son, Javaryn.
