The Webster County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to to the 2013 budget during the regular meeting Tuesday morning.
The amendments are to cover capital projects, the addition of a county human resources position, election funds and attorney and engineering fees for projects at the North Central Ag Industrial Park.
The election fund was increased by $30,000, an additional $10,000 was added to fund the human resources position and $45,000 will be added to cover fees for the Ag Park. Additional fees will also be added to fund the jail renovation project, which was expected to be paid for in the 2012 budget year.
Supervisor Clark Fletcher said the amendment to jail and Law Enforcement Center were not for additional projects but for those that did not come in during fiscal year 2012.
"The amendments are not for additional costs," said Fletcher. "It was just the timing of the projects; we thought it would be paid for last fiscal year."
The adopted changes were to the current budget year, which ends June 30, 2013.
