VINCENT - Sherrie Kay Baldwin Kirsch passed away August 8, 2012, at her home in Arcadia, Florida. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. at South Enes Lutheran Church in Vincent, with the Rev. Susan Stone officiating.
Sherrie was born March 29, 1954, to Gerita Decker Baldwin and Clifford L. Baldwin in Fort Dodge. She was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Manson, and was confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge. She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. She married Matt Rodenborn on September 15, 1973, and later married Larry Kirsch on June 1, 1996.
Sherrie is survived by her husband, Larry Kirsch, Arcadia, FL; daughter, Shannon (Tafifippi) Robertson, Raytown, MO; step-son, Larry Kirsch Jr., Bartenton, FL; mother, Gerita Lacina, Manson; three half-brothers, Monty Lacina, Fort Dodge, Cory Lacina Elk Point, SD, and Clifford "Skip" (Connie) Baldwin Jr., Webster City; sister-in-law, Shirley Baldwin, Fort Dodge; grandson, David "Eli" Howey, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH; and in-laws, Peggy and Larry Kirsch, Arcadia, FL. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Baldwin; step-father, Earl Lacina; brother, Bryan Baldwin; and grandparents, Alvena and Gerald Decker, Lewis Baldwin, and Mary and Ranke Gerdes.
Sherrie worked at a bus factory where she decorated buses for movie stars and bands. She also worked at the Doctor's Clinic in Arcadia, FL.
