Local photographer Bob Wood was recently awarded a blue ribbon for photography at the Iowa State Fair.
Wood's image, "Floating Sarah," won first place in the Special Division: Black and White or Color, Category: High Dynamic Range, at the 2012 Iowa State Fair Photography Salon. A blue ribbon and a cash prize were awarded to Wood on Aug. 5 at the Photography Salon award reception. The superintendent of the Iowa State Fair Photography Salon, Charley Starns, presented Wood with the award.
Wood is a photo artist from Fort Dodge specializing in urban, rural, landscape, architecture and modern photography, including infrared and HDR (High Dynamic Range).
