Michelle Engelbrecht is one of the recipients of the August Fort Dodge Correctional Facility Employee Spotlight Award.
This monthly award was established to recognize individuals who have performed outstanding work, demonstrated a commitment to a team atmosphere, participated in a major accomplishment or are/were involved in a project or event in the operation of the facility or in the community.
Engelbrecht began her career with the Department of Corrections at the North Central Correctional Facility, Rockwell City, on Nov. 17, 1995, as a registered nurse. On March 20, 1998, she transferred to FDCF.
