Wood joins LifeWorks’ board

Bob Wood has joined the LifeWorks Community Services board of directors.

As a board member, he will provide oversight to LifeWorks' paid leadership. The mission of LifeWorks is to provide opportunity for growth and achievement for people with disabilities.

Wood is a local photographer. He is also vice president of the Fort Dodge Public Library's board of trustees, president of the Lizard Creek Blues Society, president of the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation's board of directors and a member of the Iowa Central Community College art program advisory committee.

A native of Orange, Calif., Wood studied broadcasting at Iowa Central and industrial education at Iowa State University.

He and wife Karen live in Fort Dodge.
