RUTLAND - Bruce Rooney, 71, of Rutland, passed away Aug. 9, 2012 at his home. A Celebration of His Life will be held Sunday Aug. 19th from 12:00 (noon) until 3:00 p.m. at the Rutland Community Center.
Bruce Rooney, the son of Lester and Janice Rooney, was born June 12, 1941 in Brooten, MN. Bruce worked as a forklift operator for Chantland Co. until his retirement.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Janice; sons, Michael (Gemma) Rooney from Jefferson, and Scott (Jody) Rooney of Humboldt; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Joan Spencer and Dora Schindorif. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janet Muskee.
The Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is assisting the family.
