MANOR - Friends and family of Lonnie Derrig are invited to attend a memorial service for Lonnie on Sunday, Aug 19th at the Otho Community Center at 2:00 P.M. The service will be conducted by Pastor Richard Laird of Webster City. Following the service, there will be a time of food and fellowship. Lonnie was 56 years old when he died at his home in Manor, TX on June 28th.

He was born in Fort Dodge on March 20, 1956. He is survived by three children: Ashley Derrig of Bastrop, TX; Jason Derrig of Austin, TX; Curtis Derrig of Fort Dodge; two granddaughters, Skylar and Taylor, of Austin, TX; his father Dean Derrig, of Otho; mother, Donna Brasfield, and husband Bo, of Thorndale, TX; sisters Candi Coughlon, of Georgetown, TX; and Lisa Phillips (Gary), of Buda, TX; three brothers, Jon Adams (Linda), of Winchester, TX; Dolor (Larry) Adams (Cindy)of Leander, TX; and Stephen Brown, of Granbury, TX. Along with several nieces and nephews.

Lonnie grew up in Webster County, IA and attended schools in Otho and Gilmore City. For many years, he was the owner of Affordable Spas in the Manor, TX area. He was an avid lover of barbeque and loved cooking for family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends and his two beloved dogs, Ann and Dan.
