Delores M. Jones, 83, of Fort Dodge and formerly of Moorland, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Tompkins Memorial Health Center.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 12, 2012 at 12:45 PM in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Moorland with Rev. Shane Deman officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery. A visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home with a vigil at 7:00.
Delores is survived by her sons, Michael and his wife Jaci of Fort Dodge and Mark and his wife Shawna of Jeffers, MN; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Bemrich of Wisconsin and sisters, Jean Hruska and Mary Carlson of Bella Vista, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Bernice (Gilligan) Bemrich; husband, Clarence; son, Danny; daughter, Pamela Willis; brothers, Virgil, Leroy, James, and Richard Bemrich; and an infant grandson.
Delores Mae Bemrich was born May 18, 1929 near Pioneer, Iowa. She began her education in the Pioneer Area before her family moved to Fort Dodge. She graduated from the Corpus Christi Academy. On June 28, 1948 she was united in marriage to Clarence E. Jones Jr. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. After raising her family, Delores began working at the Tobin Pack for a period of time and later Sawyer's Tendermost Beef for over 20 years.
Delores was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, the Rosary Society, Fort Dodge Phil Fox Chapter of Isaac Walton, and the V.F.W Auxiliary. Her family was the most important thing in her life.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
