DAYTON — Chelsey Degen, of Algona, and Scott Danielson, of Dayton, are engaged.
Parents of the couple are Joe and Kendra Degen, Algona, and Randy and Cindy Danielson, of Dayton.
A Sept. 1 wedding is planned.
Degen is a 2007 graduate of Algona High School and a 2011 graduate of Simpson College, with a double major in sports administration and management. She is employed at the Washington Community School District and is continuing her education at Iowa Wesleyan, with a focus on education.
Danielson is a 2006 graduate of Southeast Webster High School and a 2010 graduate of Simpson College with a major in physical education and exercise science. He is employed at Washington Community School District and is continuing his education in educational leadership.
