HUMBOLDT - U.S. Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa; Iowa GOP Chair A.J. Spiker; Rep. Tom Shaw, R-Laurens; and Republican National Committee member Steve Scheffler are among the invited speakers for the Humboldt County Republicans' annual summer picnic Tuesday.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. at the Humboldt County Events Center on the Humboldt County Fairgrounds. Serving will begin shortly thereafter. King is expected to arrive around 5 p.m. and be the lead-off speaker at 6 p.m.
The menu includes steak sandwiches, hot dogs, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, dessert and a drink.
There will be a fundraising pie auction.
