JEWELL (AP) - Authorities have identified the remains pulled from a central Iowa lake as a Jewell man reported missing in 2007.
The man is identified as 66-year-old Virgil Wilcox.
The Iowa medical examiner's office said Wilcox's death has been ruled a suicide with the cause of death listed as drowning.
The Hamilton County sheriff's office said Wilcox was reported missing from Jewell in November 2007.
A vehicle was pulled from Little Wall Lake on Thursday night after people fishing at the lake earlier in the day found human remains.
