Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool is now taking applications for the 2012-2013 school year.

Preschool classes for 4-year-olds are held each morning, 8-11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is tuition free and children must be 4 by September 15, 2012.

The 3-year-olds meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9-11:30 a.m. Children need to be 3 by September 15 and completely and independently potty-trained. All classes will start the first week of September after Labor Day.

Tuition assistance is provided through Linking Families and Communities for those meeting their requirements.

The school is described as a Christ-centered preschool emphasizing a caring Christian environment. It is licensed by the Department of Human Services. The program promotes social development and kindergarten readiness.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Preschool admits children of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at school.

The preschool director is Jessica Ferry. She is trained in Early Childhood Education and is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. Susan White is our preschool aide.

All are welcome to visit the school at 1023 S. 27th S. or contact the office for registration at 573-8618. Call today to register your child as all class sizes are limited to better serve the needs of the children.
