DARIEN, Ill. - Kathy, aged 76, originally of Fort Dodge, but resident of Darien, Illinois, died at her home on Saturday, July 21st from pancreatic cancer. She is preceded in death by her father Raymond Orres, her mother Florene Orres Nelson, her sister Suzanne (Lee), and her brothers Donnie Orres and Michael Orres. She is survived by her husband Philip of 51 years; daughters Ann (Keith) Olsen, Liz (James) Cavanaugh and Amy (Brian) Cannon; 11 grandchildren; also brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Kathy graduated Corpus Christi School in 1953, graduated St. Anthony's Nursing School 1956, and worked at Mercy Hospital before moving with family to Chicagoland area in 1967 where she worked as a nurse prior to retiring in 2002. Kathy was a loving mother and grandmother and after retirement, she continued volunteering at church.
