Roy Chase, of Fort Dodge, will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m., on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church.

Chase was born July 26, 1932, in Minneapolis, Minn., and married Ann Carlson on April 11, 1959. He was employed by KWMT radio, KVFD television and most recently retired from Iowa Central Community College. He is active in Golden Kiwanis and PICA.
