Marilyn K. McNeil, 72, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Funeral services will be held on Tues-day, July 24th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Catholic Daughters of Americas Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. all at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Lonnie) Cody, Watauga, TX; daughter-in-law, Cathy Conley of Fort Dodge; stepson, Scotti Ray McNeil of Fort Dodge; stepdaughter, Kelli (Patrick) Henning of Fort Dodge; sister, Phyllis Wood of Fort Dodge; 5 grandchildren, Denise (Cody) Boyd, Ft. Worth, TX; Jessica Conley, Christopher Conley, Lonnie Cody Jr., all of Watauga, TX; Brittany Henning; 4 great grandchildren, Alyssa Jones, Jordan Clark, Alexis and Zoe' Boyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna (Strain) Springer; husband, Raymond E. McNeil Jr.; son, Patrick Conley; brothers, Myron and John (Matt) Springer, Robert Springer; sisters, Patricia Ewing, Geraldine Thompson, and Elinor Severson.

Marilyn Kay Springer was born on August 17, 1939 in Fort Dodge, IA. She graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1957. She was employed at Central Telephone Company and married Paul Conley in 1959. The later divorced. She attended Tobin Business College and was employed at Avco New Idea until its closing, then Land O Lakes, Inc. She married Raymond McNeil on April 13, 1973 in Vermillion, SD; the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Marilyn retired from Land O Lakes in 1999. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Catholic Daughters of Americas Court #216.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
